| AFAIK, the 500HP series turbos aren't really an option right at the moment. We are prototyping a 550HP turbo and a 620HP turbo for future sales. A "Sport 500" or a 500HP turbo, for all practical purposes, is a stock turbo. The actual JWT product uses slightly larger wheels than stock. We have seen over 400RWHP on stock turbos which puts you in the realm of 500HP at the crankshaft. Keep in mind, the "500" or "550" naming is referring to crankshafat horsepower, not RWHP. For the price range you are looking for, our Stage1 550HP turbo setup will run you $1650 with a lot of stuff included. Here's the link to it if you dont have it. [ http://z1motorsports.com/Products/Powerplant%20Performance/Turbos/Turbos.asp ] We have still yet to determine exactly what they are capable of as the dyno session we had with them showed problems with the wastegates and we could only make 13psi. But at 13psi it made 377RWHP. Turning them up to 20psi will show very nice numbers, I'm sure. This is all part of our R&D we are putting into these turbo packages - we will have dyno charts from every car with a particular turbo for people to see and even with comparisons to other turbos from other companies. We are planning to return to the dyno within two weeks to get solid numbers on both the 550HP series as well as the 620HP series. You might want to hold off on turbo purchases until that data is availiable.. Stay tuned...
